Celebrating the Moms of our Monti Kids Team

Zahra, Founder & CEO

What’s your secret mom superpower?

Apart from the fact that my body makes milk(!), my snuggles have magical healing powers and when I read story books out loud, I can give all the characters funny voices. It’s a big hit.

What’s your favorite advice from your mom?

Everyone has a story. Always be kind.

When do you feel like the best version of yourself?

On the days when I’ve danced, been outside in nature, and spent even a few minutes of one on one time with each of my kids and my husband. Also, when I help a child or a parent learn something - I’ll always be a teacher at heart.

Candace, COO

What’s your secret mom superpower?

Getting my kids to eat vegetables.

What’s your favorite advice from your mom?

"Stop doing your homework and go to bed!" I was the type who resorted to doing homework with a flashlight under the covers so she wouldn't see I was still working. I think of her advice every night when I'm up too late working now!

When do you feel like the best version of yourself?

When I'm listening, really listening. Also during Sunday morning yoga.

Tabetha, Senior Marketing Manager

What’s your secret mom superpower?

Healer of any ouchies with special mom hugs. Also, ability to turn all preschool plant projects brought home by Avery and Reed from green to brown ;)

What’s your favorite advice from your mom?

Patience is the answer to almost every situation with little ones.

When do you feel like the best version of yourself?

Any time after a cup of coffee has been consumed.

Stacy, Montessori Expert

What’s your secret mom superpower?

My husband thinks I have x-ray sneak-a-vision. Haha

What’s your favorite advice from your mom?

Rub your earlobes for a tummy ache.

When do you feel like the best version of yourself?

When I’m busy. But not too busy!

Leslie, Senior Social Media Manager

What’s your secret mom superpower?

The best cuddles to calm even the most epic tantrums!

What’s your favorite advice from your mom?

For as long as I can remember my mom taught me to be kind to everyone, because you never know what battles they're facing.

When do you feel like the best version of yourself?
Those rare weekends when I've checked everything off the to do list and can relax with my family and friends - preferably beachside!
